Well, I got a current topo map, a reprint map of 1862 Civil War Missouri, and a book. But tearing my brother away from his beloved tv, couch, and cats is hard.
I do need to sort out the likely spot.
Guess I am on my own.
I did find a square nail in the backyard

I found out what the deal was.The chopper landed here in the morning.Picked up 2 passengers ,1 male,1 female .Flew them to a winery about 1.5 hrs car drive due West from here.At the winery he proposed to her, she said yes.Then about 5 hrs later the chopper returned here, to the same spot. And dropped them off for a Hugh party .
