Well another case would be St Patrick's Day is celebrated on this side of the pond as an excuse to have fun. Ireland treats it as a religous day.

Did not know they looked at it as a a religious holiday. Hard to believe from being this side of the pond as having religious ties unless it was intended to "scare" religion into people :dontknow:

A look at how life was, Back in the day 1700s-1800s .Franklin county Va.(my county) was known for 2 things.Tobacco and the moonshine capital . The tobacco barns still stand scattered all over the area. Oh,The stories they could tell.028.JPG014.JPG014.JPG013.JPG

So far they only have only produced junk.But there are hundreds of them scattered all over the area.Someday,maybe, one of them will reveal a nice gold or silver coin :) These guys (of the era) loved their "Shine". Someone had to of dropped something good :)
