Well I'm up to 5 to 6 times per week mind you I've walked most of my life and I'm retired. I was doing 1 hour now doing 1 1/2 hours with a coffee break midway.

I'm at pretty much my ideal weight and don't really have to count calories, etc....which is a plus.

Yes chris........awlbrite plus, acrylic urathane.it is incredible stuff. At 200$ a quart it should be !!

Folks,

Tonight on the menu ribs cooked in the slow cooker, then finished off in the oven with some nice BBQ sauce, side of scalloped potatoes and some roasted peppers with goat cheese, garlic, bread crumbs anchovies, etc....yummy!

Yes we expanded our open air outdoor shop all weekend long. We added 2 more large canopy tents. We have a large complex of these canopy tents at our log lot. One 40 by 12 canopy is our wood shop. We use other canopies to dry and cure our logs slabs and lumber. We set up smaller canopies over the bigger logs and use them like temporary shops while we mill the logs. After milling into slabs we let them dry for a year out doors but stacked for protection under the tents. After a year to a year and a half there ready to be sold to other craftsman and artists, or used by us to make our own pieces. We are blessed to have the figured Cuban mahoganies, and everything we cut is storm fall or permitted county take downs. If one is taken down by permit,then 3 must be planted. With this technique we are able to bring this endangered and protected species to market. Sweitenia mahogani is at the very top of the lumber food chain. It truly is gold, and highly sought after. Guitar makers suck up most of the wood for its legendary tonal qualities. Furniture makers have coveted this wood since it was discovered shortly after Columbus found the new world. Board ft prices can range from 30-40$ a board ft for the plainer more vanilla pieces, to well over 100$ a board ft for the highly figured pieces that I treasure hunt for down here. I have a recent log that's been cut and stacked in six slabs that are 2 3/4 inches thick, by 12 ft long and 26-28 inches wide. I am shopping it with a 20,000 dollar tag on it. 2 bites so far and I don't care if it sells cause I want to make a conference table from it. We love building furniture so I hate to see it go if it sells. Other woods we urban log are black iron wood,jamaican dogwood,sabicu,sea grape,lignin vita,and sapadilla to name the good ones. We are eco friendly and harvest only exotic tropical hard woods. For me it's a whole other from of treasure hunting.
