You got to enjoy them while you can. I remember my youngest son, the very first word out of his mouth was da da. I think I worked on him for months, but was happy as could be. We did everything together. Went to work on weekends with me and loved to watch me work on cars as a hobby. Then one day it kinda came to an end. He started asking me car questions which involved computers and stuff. This was way over my head. I tried to explain that I did not know the answers to his questions. And the look on his face said it all. And I realized that I had pretty much taught him everything I knew and could not help anymore. That was a severe reality check for me.
I pray that I can get to that point. My biggest fear is not being here for him. Even at 3 1/2 I'm letting him dig through the tool box, throw my sockets around. haha I try to involve him in everything I can. He loves the outdoors..We take him for walks even at night so he can see the stars and moon. We take him camping too...Try to introduce him to as many things as I csn because we never know how long we will be on this earth. That is a huge fear for me.
