Hey!! I think I know a guy that fits all of those......I'm not joking!:laughing7:

I bet he would be a barrel of laughs. I knew a few and you could hardly tell when they were serious or just pulling your leg.

Ya, He told a group of us that he just got back from a ....J.. from his cousin. We all laughed thinking it was a joke. later we found out.....not a joke!

Actually a very smart guy, couldn't understand him half the time and he just didn't care about much. :laughing7: He even had duct tape wallet. Made his own cannon that used a 1in bullet that he would pour. He would hold that thing after he loaded it with spoon fulls of smokeless powder in a 4x4in chamber, with a wick. Dude was nuts!! We always thought it would blow apart on him but never did.

That was one of many off the wall things he did.

Sure would be the life of any party it sounds. :laughing7:

Him and I rented a small warehouse to work on our cars and motorcycles, it was 30ft x 90ft....Not much work went on there. It ended up a party every night and on the weekends....A lot of stupid and fun times!! :laughing7: Cops or fire department there at least once a month. To the point that they knew all of us.:laughing7: He would offer them beer. haha...some of the sheriffs deputies would sit and BS. we never did get any of them to tke a beer though.:laughing7:

Everyone needs a friend like that, helps put some fun back into the world. You just can't be 100% serious all of the time, it will age you fast. I miss my friend. You still in contact with yours ?

I hadn't seen him in about 10years. We went home to visit at the beginning of this summer. My wife ran into him at a gas station and gave him our number. I talked to him on the phone and everything was like it was 15 years ago. :laughing7: I've talked to that one time in over 10 years. But all of us were pretty close at that time and no matter what...Even after years, we would be there if called on and something major. We just all grew apart and have differences now....but the loyalty is still there.

Good for you, Glad to hear that. Seems so many people burn their bridges behind them.

I try not to....I'm a pretty loyal person. I have a lot of old "friends" that I really don't agree with, not all good people. But, they all have good in them. I try to stay ok with all of them. There are one or two that I had to completely lose contact with, because they were so manipulative or controlling. But that's rare. I even like to keep in touch with all the guys that I worked for and made some good friends that way I can return to almost any job that I've had Which I'm greatful for!

I say "friends" but maybe 2 that I completely trust with anything. Those are really rare. So, there are different types of friends.

Anyhow, just rambling nonsense going down memory lane! :laughing7:

Memory Lane has a lot of traffic on it. Remembering the good from the past helps make us look forward to the future, I hope. I know I remember MORE of the good times than I do the Bad times.

waiting for my son to go to sleep. haha He's still rooting around in his toy box. His sleep schedule is all messed up. But he's too much fun! Little guy is so curious about everything.haha almost hate to make him go to bed. But he will sleep all day now.

Yes!! I try to but sometimes you get stuck on the bad. Or at least I do at times. It's all experience, and sometimes the bad helps to motivate and to keep from happening again.

You got to enjoy them while you can. I remember my youngest son, the very first word out of his mouth was da da. I think I worked on him for months, but was happy as could be. We did everything together. Went to work on weekends with me and loved to watch me work on cars as a hobby. Then one day it kinda came to an end. He started asking me car questions which involved computers and stuff. This was way over my head. I tried to explain that I did not know the answers to his questions. And the look on his face said it all. And I realized that I had pretty much taught him everything I knew and could not help anymore. That was a severe reality check for me.

20 / 20 hindsight for me. And yes, I guess to remember "some" of the bad helps to not repeat that process.
