Im saving for excal # 3 right now. We keep one on each boat I work on but my personal machine is worn out. Im using my fisher right now.
Apparently, one of the younger Soldiers I work with has a Grandfather that passed away.

He approached me and asked if I was familiar with the Excalibur II. Supposedly it was never used and in the box still. I told him to ask his dad what he wants for it. No factory warranty left...more than certain about that.

Folks,

Another Carol King song for you. When the tapestry album came out back in the 1970's if memory serves me correctly it was the highest selling female album in history up to that time with something like 25 million copies sold.

Will there be an excal III in the near future?

Not sure about that but you should get that machine if the price is right. I would get an equinox if the depth rating was a little deeper.

View attachment 1629153 The worked edge that he said is barely remaining is just above the grip. He showed me how the whole curved part was at one time worked to be sharp and that it was eroded away and now rounded.

View attachment 1629155 He told me that this had been eroded away mostly on the back side, making it thinner than what it would have been. There are a couple faint grooves left on the back side.

I don't know guys. He's the 4th person that has held it and said it was something. He's the first one to call it something.
