First I forgot to put the board on. So when we got a fish on, the lines got tangled. Fortunately it was trash fish. But then we had a nice one and I muffed the net job. So he ordered me to the front. LOL

Anyone know how to sharpen scissors?

Fix a piece of sandpaper (fine) on the edge of a flat surface. The scissors cut has an angle. Put the cut exactly on that angle on the paper and pull it back from the side of the cut. Do it very slowly so you have control on the angle.

If you have experience using iron files, you can do it also with a file but only pull the file over the complete lenght of the scissors blades.

Some people simply cut sand paper with it to make it sharp but thats the wrong way because you take off material from the wrong side (inside on the scissors)

Damn... hart to explain in an other language.

Found one! This guy using a rotating wet stone but you can do it it exactly the same way with sand paper!! Important is just to hold the right angle.

Actually that is part of "my" abandoned school. I love the place.
You would not believe how many people say to cut sandpaper or tinfoil. It does not work. I have some old nice scissors I would like to sharpen. New ones won't cut paper lol.
