Folks,

On the menu for supper Singapore noodles with shrimp. Since there's quite a bit of veggies in the dish I'll just slice up some tomato and cucumber from the garden to have on the side.

WD,

I actually did that once was wearing steel capped boots detecting.....:laughing9::laughing9::laughing9: at least I clued in fairly soon and managed to swing far enough away to avoid false signals ended up with a tired arm for my troubles though....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

The first time I took mine out I was with my grandson. It would beep, he would dig. Nothing. We got clear to the other end of this 40 acres doing that same scenario over and over before I realized it was my boots! :BangHead:

My grandson ditched me and I had to swing it way out front too. When I got back, I put it on a shelf and didn't touch it for I think 2 years until I got on this site and someone told me to get back out there.

OK. This one is funny to me because we do this from March through Nov-Dec. Except we use his and her laundry baskets part of the time and suitcases the other. Don't ask me why, but as soon as we get to the lake, I unpack and put everything away for the weekend. Then fold it all back up into the baskets, go home and set them down in the closet and live out of them all week.
