there is a problem around this area that i often run into... alot of my antique hunting is done in peoples barns or sheds that, if there seems to be out of place stuff thats visible from the street, i ask if they would like it cleaned up and hauled off. they have no interest in what im trying to aquire and havent for decades, it just sits in a yard and slowly will rust away, but at the first sign that someone else might be interested, then all of a sudden its as necessary as oxygen.
ive even gone under the flag of photographer interested in their collapsing 100yo barn just so i can get a look inside.

Are you buying their antiques? Or trying to score something for nothing out of cleaning it up for them?

I usually try to work out a trade, I clean up yard, barn, shed, haul off junk, etc., And instead of cash, they give me whatever I was interested in.

Well IDK. The "Collectors" grow attached to their stuff. Just keep trying. It's a numbers game.

DSCN6373.webp OK this is kind of a creepy name to me. :icon_scratch:

OK. I have the opportunity of a life time for me. I am planning a trip to Belize. Now, I am not a diver. More of a floater. :laughing9:

But I would like to hunt while I am there. What beginner type tools do I need to take? I liked that one RTR posted with the swimming floaties attached to the round sifter/classifier. And I have this kit, so I think I can do that.

Today must be one of the hardest decision that I made. My dog is having an endless barking behavior and with that, he needs to wear a citronella bark collar.

Wow, sounds like life is tough of that's your hardest decision to make! I would gladly trade you dog problems!

Wel, I guess it's not that tough compared to the other people dilemma. I just hope that it will work, I don't want to see myself be kicked out in the neighborhood after receiving multiple complaints.

Alexa,

Welcome aboard and hope your little trick works.
