This one's for you, Davers!

Thanks so much Sis .

I really liked the song and at this time 'days later' I really need to Just Breathe & leave things at the foot of the Cross.

Hope you & everyone on the RCT is doing well , Before long the FBI Is gonna have the random chatters listed as a 'Gang' or "Group to watch'" lol

Heck they might learn something. I'm smiling, to lazy to "go advanced" . lol

Folks,

Here's a few pictures I just took of our garden. It's coming along nicely I might add.

Picture 1:-Brussel Sprout and since all the cabbage family plants tend to get attacked by insects without pesticides we use row covers instead to protect them. Great option if you garden btw and we cut off some of the lower leaves to encourage growth of the sprouts and rather than just composting them we stuffed them similar to what you'd do with cabbage leaves.

Picture 2:-Habanero peppers 10/10 on the heat scale....lol. and some celery root next to it as well as some green onions/scallions.

Picture 3:-Swiss Chard(similar to spinach, however you can harvest the outer leaves and it will grow back so you get to use it for the entire season) this plant get attacked by leaf miners so that's why the row cover for protection , more green onions and in the background some black raspberry plants(similar to blackberries).

Pictures 4 through 7:-Yellow cherry tomatoes, 2 containers with carrots and cucumbers and we'll get to harvest the first cucumber this weekend.

Nothing like home grown vegetable with zero pesticides and the only fertilizer is compost, manure and mulch.

Laughter is the best medicine. Did you share some of yours, too?

Well, I dug up some more rust for about 2 hours today. I haven't taken pics yet. But I have another "What is it" for you. It might have to wait until next week though. We will see how my day goes tomorrow. I have 6 rows of sweet corn to go through and pick what's ready. Our farmer planted it in a section of our field. They are long rows!
