Awhile back they did a show on him. If I remember right, he was turned downed for the Johnny Carson show something like 3 times as they did not feel he was ready. Then when he finally did get on the show, he went big time. They showed the toll it took on him and his wife and they finally got a divorce. Then his career spiraled down because of his lack of interest and the public as well. So he came up with a new show, new characters, and new lines and started packing the theaters to almost standing room only.
