Both my treasure sites for cobbs are clean and free of seaweed. My neighbor has given me a heads up and says conditions are good for a treasure hunt. Woooo hooo. He takes care of an estate that contains the remnants of a 1733 fleet salvage ccamp.this one has rarely been searched, and many cobbs were found on the beach here by a construction crew in 1987. In 94 a friend found a pocket in 3 feet of water here and found 51 pieces of eight from the 1733 fleet. Later in the week I'll go by boat to this spot with phippsfolly mike. Today I'm off to the spot where I found my best coin a 1733 8 reale pillar dollar. The tide is on the way out and will ebb at 5:07 pm. The hurricane has had our winds offshore for 4 days now and millions of tons of seaweed have been blown off the beaches leaving them clean. BBL !!
