This song pop's into my head everytime I step foot within the limits of a city.

I just looked at the two videos above and thought to myself: They are the reason for the hole in the Ozone layer. Think of the hairspray! Dang!

Okay, I had to post one for the Yankee's on here, and as a tribute to the six Yankee's in my family who fought in the war.
"The union forever! Hurrah boys, hurrah! Down with the traitors, and up with the star; While we rally round the flag, boys, rally once again, Shouting the battle cry of freedom!"

Where did you find this picture Tom ? :icon_scratch: I remember the day this happened. Bill and I got caught skipping school and we had to go to confession for it. About halfway through our confession the steeple got stuck by lightning and there was no clouds in the sky. Everybody had to evacuate the church. A week later, we went back to finish and we asked where was our priest ? We were told that our priest abruptly quit and started selling used cars. crying-with-laughter.gif

Hey ECS, ARC's plot to disgrace you may turn out to be a money maker instead :occasion14: When is the IPO ? :laughing7:

:censored::censored::censored::censored: RAIN ! ! ! Rain almost every day for past 6 weeks and now looks like we have to contend with it for at least the next 10 days yet. Tuesday is calling for everything, high winds, hail, tornadoes, and, oh yeah, MORE RAIN :BangHead: I love the smell from my Lilac bush, but the torrential downpours destroyed all the flowers. Guess I will go out to the garage and take the boat cover off and make sure my boat is still waterproof :BangHead::censored:

Simon,

Hopefully you get some dryer weather shortly we also had a cool wet spring so far. The lilacs are just starting to bloom so about 2 weeks late this year.

Thanks for telling me about your lilac season extending 2 more weeks :BangHead: I look forward each year to ours, but the past two years the rain has destroyed them. Just one time I found some lilac dishwashing soap at our store, smelled good so I bought 6. Then shortly after that the store quit selling it, ( probably some California cancer concern :icon_scratch: ). When doing dishes, it smelled exactly like our lilac bush, even I looked forward to doing dishes. :laughing7:

Last week, in addition to the rain, our temps at night got down into the low 40's.
