Hello fellow Hunters, I have been looking into these Google maps overlays. I do not understand How to create an overlay, Can I find overlays that have already been created? I have been trying to find something on just one city which is Wilson, North Carolina and surrounding areas. I found plenty of videos on how to implement overlays into Google earth pro but that is about the extent of it.
From what I have read it says I need an image in the correct format. But how do I get an image from 18th or 19th centuries that contain street names, markers and maybe some points of interest. I found plenty of Civil and revolutionary maps which I already own a collection of but really the only detail that is covered is the actual battle ground, trails, camps etc. I am looking maps a little broader.
I also had come across Indian reservations but still no markers providing any points I can set. Anyone out here in TreasureNet land that can provide me with some insight I would appreciate it. Thanks
