The Outer Banks are great!
For several summers we would rent a beachside house in Duck, back in the days when the wild banker ponies wound wander the two lane road and beach, and sometimes chase someone who got to close to the herd.
WEE WINK's Market & Deli in Duck has the best chicken salad sandwiches on the East Coast.

Yeah we saw a total of 37 this time around Here is their youngest addition.

Very hard to see way off on the horizon(click 3x to zoom in).....Navy Seals training for hostage rescue.See 2 Chinooks by the ship,at times we counted 3 Chinooks. one coming in closer.The training lasted 2 days.
