I'd suggest backing everything up ASAP.
You most likely are going to need some new RAM or hard disk unless you are using a SSD.
Also, if you started a reply to someone, after a set time, the forum software autosaves what you have typed.
Like you started a reply and then change your mind and backspace everything out, you will get a warning about changes you have made will be lost.
What platform are you using ?

A virus cannot affect this.

OTHER than in bogging it down... but not "physically" harm it to need a "replacing".

Hard drive either for that matter.

Research a virii called Rape747
Horrible name granted, but that particular virus was and is a bricker!
It'll write itself into the CMOS at the system board level.
You have to replace the entire mobo at that point.
Granted the odds of HIS computer being infected by such a work of art like that piece of code is highly unlikely unless you are someone of sticky attention.
Meaning someone has a very important reason for watching you.
Personally, with what I know, I'd toss the whole thing in the ocean and start fresh.
Backups will backup the virii.

No problem on my end...maybe time to clean the computer and no not with a hose.... and do a defrag sometimes things get out of sync.

Last night the sound got knocked off on my computer...couldn't listen to any songs somehow managed to reset it this a.m.

I remember plenty of virii that would disable the sound card driver temporarily.
Same one that would make drive letters disappear from "my computer".

When it comes to these things, my paranoia level is off the charts!

my next pistol a 22TCM its a 223 cartridge necked down to fit a 22 cal bullet its got a lot of power. the FPS are 2,100 and that is out of a pistol.

Run antivirus and cleanup programs, cookies was also deleted. Gone to T-net and everything was fine!No popups while changing pages. Than I logged in and same happens!
So it must be a T-net thing and not my computer.

I remember wayyy back when some people I know loaded 30-06 cartridges with .22 bullets.
Those buggers were so damn hot when they hit with the combination of velocity.. nothing but a lead splat that would barely break skin.

I know a whole bunch of "here, hold my beer type rednecks"

Just checked it, it comes now only when I wrote something and change the pages. Than it works fine....

But yesterday, while just viewing this thread, something jacked my browser without any input from myself meaning it was loaded into the cache from this server and redirected me to a site that was trying to get me to click a confirmation.
This website is compromised!
