Hey bc......we call those Hemingway cats. Somehow ernest hemmingway had some at his house in key west, and they are still there at his residence. It's a tourist attraction and the cats are treated like royalty and well taken care of. They lay around all over the place and still represent for poppa Hemingway!! Its an honor to have one if you live in the keys and they are part of our heritage here. Give um a scratch on the head for me.

All I strive to be is a better Human Being.I can not give myself what I lack I am only able to be aware I do not have it only HE can fill that void. You must stop trying to save yourself,you will find an answer in your head backed by emotion and it will be the WRONG one.

Oh crap snow today.
Got a minimal path and steps for the dogs out back cleared for now while snow continues.
Took a while but the front door can be opened now.
My back suggests we're done for the day.
Have not done a tenth of minimum shoveling yet to get to the truck though.


Ahh well. On we go. Just peck away at it.

[Today: Expect a snowy day with gusty winds. This will create blowing and drifting snow, greatly reduced visibilties and making travel tough. Some of the snow will be heavy at times today really piling up and leading to significant accumulations in spots. Freezing drizzle and wintry mix is also possible today for parts of the Lower Peninsula but don’t look for much in terms of ice accumulations. Overall most of us see 6-10″ by tomorrow morning with isolated higher amounts up to 14″ possible. If you have to be out in these conditions today make sure to take your time as roads will be terrible. Highs range the low 20s to low 30s with winds out of the East at 12-25 mph and gusts of 30-35 mph.]

She really needs a home.
We try to save as many kittens as we can.
I'll have to put her out of the house soon, and I hate that thought.
There are many, many coyotes around here.
She was a stray.
Once people around here realized that we are animal lovers who save everything we can, people started dumping kittens off at our home... Usually when we aren't home.
