RAISED CENTER COIN (Repousse, Punch Pressed, Pop-Out or 3D)

Today we found a Liberty pop-out on a 1914 Barber Quarter. It has eyelets on both top of bottom, which makes us believe it was part of a piece of jewelry.

Good assumption...most are either for jewelry or novelty...

Probably worth a hundred X or more than the face value of a 1914 quarter

My father had written a book about these coins some years back. I am working on reproducing the book. If anyone is interested contact me. I will have a website with more info available online soon.

My father Robert Stump wrote the only known book about Pop-Up repousse coins. I'm looking for a small amount of funds to research new information, domain name and web space, and to print a limited run.

A $20 dollar donation will include a copy of the book if goal is met.

Sounds like a worthy cause .. I would love a book. Unfortunately, the page isn't set up to accept Paypal.
