Went out for a full day yesterday, hitting several different sites. While detecting the road leading to the first cellar hole, I got a screaming 33 on the equinox. About an inch down, was the beautiful sight of silver...early canadian silver at that! First year quarter: 1870. From there, it was off to another hole to do some bottle digging. Managed to probe out the privy for a future dig, and got a nice little med bottle. Finally, on my way home, I had the urge to stop at "the button shoreline". This place produced several Rev war buttons, including RFAs, RPs, Navy's and yet another 1st American Queens Rangers button. Very glad to have it!!!

All three finds are great! The more buttons I dig, the more I love them. The one you found looks to have some very nice detail. Congrats!

Not too shabby for being in the ground since the 1700s!

Nice old silver and relics! I hope to get a Victoria silver down here at some point. I've got Lizzie, George VI and George V. I've seen a couple Eddies recovered too but haven't gotten one myself yet.
