Good deal. I worked in shops here yrs ago that were US detector distribution.
They came with freebies! Pinpointers, trowels, headphones, great huh! Often the three.
Mmmmmm.......no.......the boss would seperate them from the bundle deal then when people would buy the detector say "hey, I tell you what, ill throw in some free headphones!" or "hey there are headphones with it but for you ill throw in a pinpointer".... etc....
Often nothing and sell the throw ins at full price. Id hear "oh thank the boss for the freebie! What a great guy". It used to make me sick.
I used to try to get customers what they should have got in the bundle but eventually I lost my job trying to be honest.
At least I left with my head held high.

i did get a bundle. this is a bonus from the manufacturer, has zero to do with the vendor separating the stuff. although you didn't say that, its implied. not sure what your trying to accomplish here. but quite frankly, mods can go ahead an delete the thread if they want as i edited it anyway ... because there was no delete option. and apparently its attracted at least one friendly hunter.

I wasn't implying anything mate! I was saying what I did because its good you got an honest deal from a supplier. Like someone saying "that's great".
I don't appreciate your aggressive reply at all, its downright gutless and underhand. I said these exact words buddy "good deal". What is so difficult to understand someone saying something as simple as that.
I commented on how I had worked here in Australia in a shop, two actually but one was a shocker, which would take the extras out and how rotten that practice is.
To have turned what I posted into the idiotic garbage you replied with is again gutless and pathetic. Oh, by the way clown, you gave my post a thumbs up, then rag out on me 🤣
