One of my favorites is my war of 1812 Massachusetts militia artillery button I found near a cellar hole

I found these silver plated buttons about a year ago on two different permissions both in West Yorkshire.
Just last week i found a third but having told the landowner what it was he wanted to keep it.
They are officer buttons from a local militia called the "Craven Legion" formed at the turn of the 19th century as a Napoleonic invasion seemed likely.
