djui5,
Love it. What did you use to make that waterfall?
-MM-

It was some stuff I bought at the model train store. Similar to an epoxy or something, just doesn't dry as hard. It's still flexible when it dries, which kinda posed a problem :)
I painted the "currents" with white paint, and created all the ripples with a toothpick. Very tedious work, but more than fun.

Another found metal creation. ;)

I dabble in alot of different things, master of none... :D
I love building furniture and refinishing old peices. My bookcase/tv case was the biggest project . I am working on building a fourposter bed now.
The two oak peices were covered with about 100 layers of paint and are getting different handles now. The sideboard and yellow cabinet are my next projects.
And embroider is something I do when I am sitting at boring meetings or waiting rooms... :D

About the only thing I was ever really good at was building model airplanes. I was an aviation nut when I was younger and had over a hundred models. I could paint them up to look like authentic planes of the era with tiny details and especially liked WWII models. After I left home and went into the military Mom and Dad moved several times and they along with my baseball cards were lost in the shuffle. My cards would be worth thousands of dollars now as mine were all autographed by living players and I even acquired a few autographed models of old timers. Such is luck. :'( Monty

The bookcase is impressive. Nice design. ;)

Oh, here is a little mountain bike frame tacking fixture I designed and machined for making custom built bike frames. Made a total of 12 frames at about $2000 a shot.

Here is my own full suspension design I built for myself while doing the other frames... The bottom pic is the main frame on the drawing after mitering all of the tubes.

Form follows function. Or just flat out great design.
