Found this two weeks ago and was wondering the age I think this is a hat pin but could be wrong there's no badge number. I can't find the ageless of this to save my life it is lead filled and the eagle is definitely and older style. 20180712_195857.jpg

How big is it JmCraz8? Usually the hat badges are smaller and most have a single stud that fit through a hole in the hat and was attached with a screw or clip. Your badge has the remains of a pin, which indicates it was used as a uniform or wallet badge. I bet if you called the Charleston PD, someone there could date it for you. Neat find!

Looks like a shirt badge. This style could be from the 20’s up to maybe the 50’s or 60’s. It depends on the agency. Like I said, contact that department, someone there can probably date it for you.
