PLEASE READ & PLEASE RESPOND , FOR YOU NOT ME

Re: PLEASE READ & PLEASE RESPOND , FOR YOU NOT ME

I now own three detectors. I picked up a BH 202 yesterday so that when the grandchildren come to visit they would have a machine to use. Also own a BH 505 and find it to be a fairly good coin and pull tab shooter. ;D The Whites MXT I bought this past Monday is the perfect MD for me. It is one great machine!! I'd like to add an Ace 250 to my collection and a small coil for the MXT. I feel those would pretty much cover the type of hunting I want to do.

Re: PLEASE READ & PLEASE RESPOND , FOR YOU NOT ME

NEWBY, here. can any one tell me about a Treasure Hunter-Vision pro xj9?

Re: PLEASE READ & PLEASE RESPOND , FOR YOU NOT ME

stick to a name brand and try the local paper

Re: PLEASE READ & PLEASE RESPOND , FOR YOU NOT ME

Personally I'd go with the Ace 250. Its light weight, one of the vry best entry level machines right now and is only $212.00. Or you can go with a Tesoro, also a great machine. You might want to read up on the Silver uMax. I understand its terrific! Don't wait to long to get into the game.

Hi Everyone

If you could have just one detector , what would it be & why ? Thanks

I wasn't looking for suggestions for me , I wanted to know which one YOU
would buy & why . Thanks

I have two, and if I could only keep one it would be the F-75. Light, fast and easy. But then my sites and conditions may not be yours. I've never beach hunted or searched for gold nuggets, for instance.

Re: PLEASE READ & PLEASE RESPOND , FOR YOU NOT ME

>>>>>I want to know which one you would buy<<<<<

How much are you comfortable spending?

Ok. If money were not an obstacle I'd go with the X-70 mineLab machine hands down.
My second choice is the MXT. I have the MXT and love it ) The used MXT is just as good as new ones. I have yet to hear of an MXT being sent back for anything more than servicing/cleaning

Tesoro would be my next choice.

My last choice would be the F4 because it beats out the F75 which seems to have some not so good reviews. It also slaps the F2 (fishers new machine) silly.

Thats it, in that order.
Hope this helps.

Re: PLEASE READ & PLEASE RESPOND , FOR YOU NOT ME

I own an ace 250, great for parks and just when I want to pick up and go
sovereign gt---my fav its one tough bugger on the relic hunts
detector pro pirate--its on its way to me via ups right now...just something to play in the surf with
garrett 1350--heavy currently my dad has it but its a decent detector I like the target ID
garrett 400----the ace is lots better

had the garrett 2500 but it drove me crazy, wouldn't work in my soil conditions I had the 2 box with it..they said it could detect a car at 20ft, but heck after digging 2 foot I decided it wasn't for me. The weight of this detector is a killer. It had good features that I liked but I really need one for relic hunting.

My next will be a water machine a good one not sure which brand either a mine, teso, fish, I 've used the excal, but would like to try the others so I can compare.

Re: PLEASE READ & PLEASE RESPOND , FOR YOU NOT ME

Re: PLEASE READ & PLEASE RESPOND , FOR YOU NOT ME

I own a Bounty Hunter Quick Silver-Cheap and my first which got me hooked.
I also own a Minelab X-Terra 70 which is my favorite and think was a excellent choice.

I would pick the Minelab X-Terra 70 it's a very versatile machine and good for finding the deep treasures. Company has good background and great resources for the detector itself (videos, manual etc..)

Re: PLEASE READ & PLEASE RESPOND , FOR YOU NOT ME

I have been very happy with my Bounty Hunter's They may not be the most expensive, but they get the work done. Wife & I both have BH Pioneer 202 plus I still have my 2 old ones that I got back in the middle 1970's. Maybe one day I will take one of the old ones out in the field just for old time sake. :)

Re: PLEASE READ & PLEASE RESPOND , FOR YOU NOT ME

Hillbilly, I see this question come up so often that I think it can only be answered by the asker. Think what would be the best caliber rifle to buy? What would be the best fishing rod, reel and line to get? What would be the best brand of tires to get for your vehicle? A metal detector is the same way it all depends on what you plan to use it for. But no matter you're going to have a lot of fun with any one of them. Oh one more question. Who makes the best moonshine?

Re: PLEASE READ & PLEASE RESPOND , FOR YOU NOT ME

dfx------------because I love my xlt and it would be an upgrade from that.

Re: PLEASE READ & PLEASE RESPOND , FOR YOU NOT ME
