I found a painting in a trash pile by Burdastov Nicholas Yurevich and its title is "Spring still life". Can you tell me how much it's worth and a little more of what to do with it. I would be willing to sell it. Please research this out guys. I'm turning up dead ends cause everything is in Russian. Attached are pictures of the painting in question. Thanks and I look forward to your responses.

I think this link is to the same artist: http://art52.ru/en/author/2710

I cannot be sure of what is it selling since it is a Russian site with Russian launguage on the page, so I'm not sure if it is selling a print/copy, or the actual artwork, but below those 3 painting shown is showing an amount in Russian Rubles I believe. Between 14000-20000 rubles each. That equates on google conversion to around $250-350 US dollars I think. But again, I'm not sure if that is selling a print or an original.... Maybe the website link will help you piece together some more clues...

Big help OcdChaos! And I quote: "The artist’s works are now in museums, monasteries, private collections at home and abroad." Wow I'm thinking I'm sitting on a fortune but it would be nice to know if those are prints or the real thing of his that's selling cheap. Lets keep at it til we see a "Solved" above this post. Maybe someone can reach out to the Russians for the answer.

This totally changes thing! I SAY WE NUKE THEM!!! Because of OcdChaos lead I was able to write the artist. Thanks again OcdChaos!

Glad to help. I like trying to figure things out, like solving puzzles. Searching the internet to follow clues to identify things is fun, kinda like treasure hunting in a way. There's a satisfaction to be found in solving a mystery. :). It may not be the big money item you had hoped, but finding a painting by an artist that is famous with galleries and exhibitions around Europe is still a cool find in a trash pile. I'd keep it and have the story to tell about emailing the artist himself in Russia to identify. Cool stuff. :)

P.S. Along the lines of liking to solve puzzles, last night for New Year Eve I took the family to one of those 'Escape Room' places. They put you in a room and lock you in, and you have 60 minutes to follow clues and solve puzzles within the room to decipher the code to enter in the doorlock to get out before your timer runs out. Was very cool, lots of fun. We got out with 3 minutes to spare. :)
