And GQ isn't exactly a "Christian" magazine, now is it? So why was Phil granting an interview to a magazine that shows half naked women in its issues? If he is REALLY so very focused on being moral? And AGAIN, never mind that Christ never said aa word about homosexuality!

pick-and-choose, pick-and choose, it never ends!

You say Jesus never said anything about homosexuals..well the Bible does, and the Bible is GODs written word, and Jesus the Christ is GOD in human form..maybe time to read the Bible ?

Those are not mutually exclusive. When the Rev. Fred Phelps protests at the funerals of members of the US Military and waves around a sign saying "God Hates Fags," he's expressing a heartfelt religious belief. I think he's a bigot.

AGAIN I ask, why was Phil giving an interview with GQ magazine in the first place? He had every right to express himself, so how about an answer this time, and not just a dodge? Is GQ magazine a conservative or Christian publication? Or is it a men's magazine that specialized in publishing mostly nude women? But, all of a sudden, we are supposed to rely on Phil for being a moral example? The guy who was involved with a 15 year old girl when he was in his 20's?

Cut me a break! TheBible doesn't compare Homosexuality with beastuality. In fact, the latest research of passages in the Bible throw considerable doubt on what are thought to be anti gay passages.

Phil's comment on blacks may be more damaging. His statement about blacks being perfectly happy in the Jim Crow South goes directly against the entire civil rights movement. This supports revisionist who want to tell us the lynchings and count the leaves stories at the voting booths never took place. And it supports those who want to return to that way of life, where blacks were truly treated as non citizens. Phil tells us blacks were happier pre- entitlement and pre welfare. That in itself is a put down to all blacks. And is a highly bigoted statement.

Those who agree with him, of course, see no harm in his words. if those who do not are liberals, count me in!

NF have you physically read the intervew? Obviously not.

He did not compare gay to bestiality, interviewer ask him what he considered sinful and Phil named a list of things he considered sinful including gays, bestiality, adultery and sleeping around. He no more compared bestiality to gays than he did to adultery or sleeping around...

We will NOT go quietly into the night!

Here we go again.....anti-Christians trying to quote the Bible :nono: Doesn't work boys!

You Lib's cry foul, I'm offended, you can't say that - It's a two way street.

Sexual perversion offends millions of people - If it does not offend you, that's your issue.

Lib's offend me everyday of the week, but hey, that's their right. Only difference is that you Lib's are a bunch of bully's who try to crush anyone with a different opinion.

In fact i did read the interview. More than once to make sure i understood what was said, the context and the meaning. Phil grouped them together. Nitpik if you like. That is a comparison.

In his view these people, all children of God, are not worthy of God's kingdom. That's judgement.

He's is a Christian man passing judgement. There are many Bible passages that say that's a no-no. From a biblical POV, who is he to judge?

Oh its nitpick? He didn't say it but you know he meant it, liberals are ones who put words in his mouth, I guess your a mind reader as now..

For those who use the argument that Jesus never said anything about homosexuals you are correct...however he DID lump it all together, I am sorry that Jesus was not politically correct enough for you.
Jesus never mentioned homosexuality, but He did condemn all forms of sexual immorality.

What comes out of you is what defiles you. For from within, out of your hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile you. (TNIV, Mark 7:20-23)

Wrong as usual NF -

In his view these people, all children of God, are not worthy of God's kingdom. < - True statement, that's why Jesus came.

Judgement - You are going to Hell < - That's is judgement, and only God can Judge.

He never said "You are going to Hell"

Who says Libs are not Christians? Where did you pick up that narrow thought?

Who says we are not offended by sexual perversion?

Who is the decider on what exactly is sexual perversion?

And, the issue is that those who are offended claim the higher road and wish to impart their beliefs on everyone else.

Bible says love everyone. To us libs that means no exceptions!

BTW - He also said marriage is one man, one woman < - - Pretty much common sense there, don't ya think?

There are militant atheists and liberal activists, why can't Christians be militant?

Who says Libs are not Christians? Where did you pick up that narrow thought? again, common sense

Who says we are not offended by sexual perversion? they promote that behavior.

Who is the decider on what exactly is sexual perversion? God

And, the issue is that those who are offended claim the higher road and wish to impart their beliefs on everyone else.
