This ribbon comes from Prince Edward Island Canada. In my research all I get to come up is: Pownal, an unincorporated area, is located in Queens County in the central portion of Prince Edward Island. I am hoping to find out what L.O.L. No 2768 Pownal P.E.I. is. I believe this maybe a lodge no but exactly what and where is a mystery to me. Ribbon looks like it has some age to it. All thoughts & opinions welcome. Thanks to all ....

L.O.L. would be Loyal Orange Lodge, PEI is obviously Prince Edward Island.

So Loyal Orange Lodge No 2768, located in Pownal, Prince Edward Island.

I can't find anything on that specific lodge, so it may be defunct or had been short lived, or I'm just not looking in the right place and holding my tongue just right.

But found this about PEI.

"The Loyal Orange Lodge was a Protestant Organization, founded on the landmarks of the British Constitution in 1690. The first Orange Lodge established on Prince Edward Island was Boyne, Number 614 in 1855. By 1866, there were thirty-six Orange Lodges established in Prince Edward Island."

Information on the Orange Lodges/Orders in Canada.

Link for the Orange Order in general.

Link for a better example of the medal/ribbon from a different chapter.

You might be able to reach out to someone on this link to find more information on your specific lodge.
