Past Few Hunts. Indians Wheats Tokens 1892 Silver Engraved Buckle And More

Hey everyone

Doing a little clean up tonight after work and wanted to share my past few hunts. Still not doing a lot of hunting due to the heat and lack of rain.

Ive been getting more in tune with the deus the past two hunts. After about 100 hrs I'm starting to understand it better and it's proving to be a hunter. Most finds have come from hammered parks

A true test of a new unit in my eyes needs to pull goods from worked over sites. Nothing spectacular but a few nice items to add. I especially like the sterling buckle. Nice personal piece.

Hoping it cools down here soon. I usually hunt pretty hard August through December.

I also eyeballed a pretty large old piece of flint. It's pretty thick and heavy and has a nice sharp edge to it. I think it's a Hyde scrapper. Can anyone I.d it. I love native artifacts

Those are excellent finds all around. I'd say the deus is working out just fine.

I hear you on the heat...I near melted yesterday myself.

I don't know how many hunts are in that pile, but you got a lot of targets.

My fav. is probably the skeleton key. I only have 2 of those after 9 years....harder to find than Spanish Silver.

It was probably three or four hunts about 10 to 12 hrs hunting. The pickerings token is a cool old one and I couldn't find anything on that token

I couldn't even find any info on the place and the token even says Where the store was located. Gave a solid 93 on the deus and was barely under the soil
