PS: Got a copy of the new Dreams' Come True book and was happy to see the nice write up on Paco. I see he thru youse a bone and mentioned your names.

Paco here is a Quick Repair for that coin.

Rap it in a Paper Towel,
Lay it on a Cinderblock
and Hammer on it.
Checking every 5 Minutes till Flat.

Just Pesting ;D Very nice find.
Congrats !

Jeff

I wouldn't put it past PACO to do that, so I told him last night, "Don't mess with it!" :D

Thanks, bud, for the reply to Pac's wilver! Now, go get 500 coins! You are the best, my friend.

Nice Reale guys,

I have yet to find one of those. Can you beleive it lol. I got lots of large cents. But that early silver is scarce. I'll hit mine at some point.

Right back at you, buddy! You have been striking coppas, but that Spanish wilver is coming to you soon. ;)

Kirk, the Spanish Silver is very nice to find, I enjoyed each and every one I have found, but I would rather find early year Large Cents and State coins. It has been awhile since I have found a spanish silver and a state copper, but they seem to come in bunches and then drought , just like a lot of my finds........

If only we all could find early Amercian Silver in quantity ::)

I don't know if I agree with you on this...I would take a Spanish wilver over most State coppas. Now, a Liberty Cap large cent would be nice.

We have been finding a load of Conn. coppas this year...I think we have 4.

HH!

Kirk,my reasoning is rather simple and logical, Spanish milled silver that is usually found on land in the Northeast is common, not really valuable , and not in demand by collectors.

Whereas both early year Large Cents/Half Cents and State coppers are not nearly as common and are in demand by collectors, thus more valuable and to me more historic.
:)

I don't really care about how valuable my coins are. I will NEVER sell them...I don't care if I find a coin that is worth $10,000...Nope, not gonna sell! I will just work a lot of overtime if I need the money that badly.

Don, a 4-Reale or a New Jersey Coppa? :D

HH, bud!

Kirk

Kirk, that is down right outstanding. Thats what it is all about.
