Pulling on your chain Gare! Maybe Bart or one of those lucky boys on the Gold coast could answer this. I wonder about that couple in CA that found that loot on their property a few years back. Good question, why did you hit the mother load? :hello2: :laughing7:

Thank you :)

Not yet, but I'm new.

If you have found one few questions.
1. Did you report it ?
2. Did you lose a percentage of it for taxes ?
3. How would you handle your NEXT big find ?
4. How or why did you hit the mother load ?
Nope Mr IRS, I never find anything but trash.

Hi Gare. I know its not what you had in mind, more actual treasure but its something close.
I once found a rich reef. The stone was crazy mineralised and full of gold. I got a number of ounces from it but the going was seriously hard and I was only able to get to a mere three feet down.
After being burnt by so many in the prospecting game here I decided it stays where it is and id prefer it to remain a mystery. Its now backfilled and undetectable due to the top section now gone and the rest covered. I went back there about 6 months ago to see if anyone by some crazy chance had found anything there. Nope, its been undisturbed for 10 yrs now, overgrown so much I took ten minutes to find the exact spot. I found it through perseverance after finding some lovely nuggets and specimens yrs earlier below it knowing the source had to be close by. I attribute the detector and the prior knowledge of gold being there to finding it. The first detector I found gold there with was an SD2100. I went back numerous times with others like the SD 2200 but it was the GPX 4500 with its increased sensitivity and ability to use monoloop coils in heavily mineralised ground which got it. I found a number of small specimens which led up the hill in a narrow line to the source. All of them were very very faint signals as was the source which was more a low soft groan than a standout sound. The other detectors didn't hear them.
I call it the Hidden reef because thats what it is now and will remain as far as im concerned.
This is some of it. Iv posted the pic before but not told the full story.

This came from out of a specimen I found there before finding the actual reef. Taken next to one of your dollars given to me by a US Vietnam veteran who came to Aus yrs ago who I knew from another forum. I lost contact with him unfortunately and have never been able to track him down. Nice guy.

Hello Gare a lot of questions there. Each can have complex answers for how, if and when and the tax ramifications relevant to the country and state in question.

I cannot comment in public forum on the grounds I may or may not incriminate myself. Violate any Non Disclosure agreements under corporation law. And any legal requirements under local, state and Federal or international laws and or international agreements. Pursuant to any such claims in relation to any such recovery or disposal of any such assets, from due diligent research of primary documents and from dedicated successful search and recovery plan.

I am NOT with any form of government. Some people were asking questions if they had to disclose there findings. Idid and do not know. Just trying to help out some

I understand you honest intentions trying to help some one. Yet there is some questions on a open forum that cannot be answered without the possibility of putting ones assets at risk.

When you have nothing you have nothing to lose. When you are rich you have much to lose. So its hard to get some one who has made a big recovery because its not in their interest in doing so. And things what works for one project is unworkable for another. There is many different factors to consider. is it Mining related, treasure trove or other? Each has many different scenarios.

Researching for lost mines, treasure or shipwrecks is one thing. Finding them is another. Getting to keep them and turning into liquid assets is whole other ball game.

You can PM if you like.

Hello Chilii your welcome to take it anyway you want to. We will get along just fine! I will not claim or disclaim. Under the grounds I may or may not leave myself open to incrimination.

Hi Crow. I was joking mate 100%. 😁👍
That's our Aussie default setting.
Like someone gives a lengthy reply explaining something exactly we would typically say "so is that a yes?" "so thats a no then?"
We know the answer before we ask.
Someone might spend 20 minutes telling me how they went on holiday and the weather was so hot it was unbearable, they hardly left the hotel room, they did nothing but sweat and argue with the others the whole time, felt like they'd thrown their money away and wish they'd stayed home. My response would be "so your not a fan of hot weather then!?"
Im weird..... :dontknow:
But I wouldn't have it any other way.....:laughing7:

Chilli you are so very CLOSE :)
