Actually the window weight is pretty cool... And I would hang it as outside decorum...
AND...
The High life" can is a vintage can. :)

Oh and about "try not to laugh too loud"... Why ? Did you hear me ? :P J/k

I did smile though...
Because I could show you a thousand similar pictures.
Keep it up... your finding.

And remember we are Metal Detectorists. Not everything we find is treasure. We find metal. Makes the good finds precious.

HEY DENNIS SEE YOU FOUND A SET OF 1700S SILVER CHARGER PLATES . NO , WELCOME TO TNET AND ANY FINDS IS BETTER THAN NO FINDS ..

Hey be positive ... you got 15 cents worth of cans ; more than I find somedays.

Well, it would appear you're having a good time Dennis, and that's all that matters. It's not uncommon for me to nearly fill a 5 gallon bucket if I hunt 6-8 hours. Many only post their "good" finds, but on occasion some will post trash/junk pics just to "keep it real". Those who don't dig trash are just leaving targets for those who do. That's why you see a lot of posts where someone gets rewarded at a "hunted to death" site, because they dug that iffy/trashy signal.

Keep at it, and good luck!

All of you guys are correct. It is a learning experience. I found out my pointer read false if I leave the shovel in the hole or near the hols, also the detector needs to be further away.

I was really excited when the AT Pro went wild. DUH. to close to a chain link fence. LOL.

Nice day today, will try it again.

Dennis you will learn something with every signal you dig. Every time will teach you about depth, target size, and composition. Don't get discouraged and remember the big banging loud signals close to the surface are usually not keepers. It's the smaller nice tight signals that are down a bit that will put the goods in your pouch....that said you just need to put yourself on the right sites and dig them all. Good luck buddy

Ahab is exactly right. I learned so much the first day or two about object size depth, etc. and had a blast doing it. I still get excited though sometimes when I see the edge of a shiny aluminum can. Have fun and happy hunting!

Welcome to Tnet & the hobby. We all hate first timers who get better finds than us, so with that lot you're in good company.

Detecting is like Christmas!!!!! Either way you don't know if you're gonna get a shiny new bike or socks & underwear!! Hope you enthusiasm last forever!!!
