I got this coin today in the mail off of EBay. I know it is Ottoman and composed of silver. Any other ideas on ID, and if possible, an idea of value.

The current value of this coin is determined by what someone is willing to pay for it. Ask yourself how much did I pay for this coin? That is its current value, however the next person may not be willing to pay that amount LOL .. could not resist :)

Well you have the Emperor's name and date range a lot of the early coins weren't issued with a specific year and covered the entire period of the reign.

You might want to check out some coin dealers who specialize in ancient coins and see what that one goes for.

Deep mining the Coin Forum archives, I read this post and decided to add some history.
This coin was minted in Konstanttiniyuye, the Ottoman Turkish name we call Constantinople. The Ottoman Turks conquered the area in 1453
This silver coin, called an 'akce' , was minted during the reign of Bayezid II.
One of Bayezid II’s most significant actions during his reign was his decision to provide refuge to the Jews who were expelled from Spain and southern Italy in 1492 CE. He did so by dispatching Ottoman ships to rescue those fleeing the persecution of the Spanish Inquisition and proceeded to welcome them into his empire.
