I have just received an email for what I considered a decent deal on a new detector, but it is from a warehouse. So I was just curious, anyone have any good things or horror stories to share about ordering a detector from a warehouse? They have the dealer beat by $25, plus the tax at my local dealer would be another $63.94, so basically Id be saving $88.94. I am a little weary about ordering through the mail, but sometimes, it just comes down to money.

What company is it? There was a fella trying to sell Minelabs on eBay claiming to be from some sort of a warehouse that turned out to be a scam a while ago, but without knowing more about the specific company it would be hard to say. Keep in mind some of the online retailers like Kellyco generally offer free shipping, great packages and no sales tax (if you are outside of FL), and are tried and true.

Just wanted to know if you could tell us the name of this company? Maybe someone would know about them, or search the internet and see how reliable they are. Omnicognic is great with research!

Well, I did not want to name a name, because they are sponsor, but because so many people are asking for one, its Kellyco. Good experiences, bad ones, indifferent?

Kellyco is excellent. If you search the forum, I don't think you'll see anything negative about them. I've bought a lot of stuff from them and the shipping, and customer service has always been excellent for me.

I have had three great experiences with Kellyco, before, during and after the sale. I had a missing item on one shipment which they replied to immediately via email and had it shipped out the same day. You are hard pressed to beat their prices and selection, and everyone I have dealt with has been friendly, helpful, and professional. As mentioned, do a search here on the forum and you will find loads of info on them.

I bought my detector from Kellyco about 4 1/2 years ago and was very pleased with my order. I have since been down to Florida and stopped by the showroom/warehouse in Winter Springs to look around and purchase a few items. So far, so good. No complaints. Good luck and HH.

As long as you do your research and have decided which machine is for you then Kellyco is the way to go. They are one of the most reputable dealers on or off the web. I bought my Whites MXT from them and they answered 2 separate e-mails within a day as well as a follow-up phone call about the warranty. Customer service, at least for me, was excellent. My sales person was Laura. I would also try and "test drive" as many detectors as possible if you have a local dealer. Sometimes they will match Kellyco's price. Freetodetect made a pretty good deal on his MXT from his local dealer. Good luck with your decision.

bought my white's spectrum Xlt & bullseye pinpointer from kellyco back in 1999 for $723? (headphones, coil cover & other extras included)? ?with free shipping.

Just make sure that the email IS from kellyco. I'd place the order over the phone.
