Paranoia is a (maybe imbalanced) state of mind . When you have multiple incedents that can and have been documented , paranoia is removed from the equasion . It becomes 'Watch your

That's what we are doing in screening who we talk with in any venue other than private , word of mouth exchanges .
How many of you are aware of the fact that using a word as innocuous as president in a casual phone conversation will get your entire call recorded and analyzed in Ft Belvoir , VA ?

Hi Jim. You make some excellent on-target points. Those who resort to calling us "paranoid" or "conspiracy theorists" are some of the main people one needs to watch his back for. Due to documented events at one of our central Texas KGC sites this winter, Colin and I have decided to refrain from discussing particulars, locations, finds, or schedules online, through the U.S. mail, or telephone conversations. I strongly suggest other serious KGC hunters do likewise. The only way we will divulge any of this information is in private face-to-face conversations ONLY with those we both know we can trust and under the promise that it never be released in any of the above manners to anyone!
lastleg: You are also on-target with your last message on this thread.

Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"

Jay, I'm one of the last people you have to watch out for. I have too many of my own sites, maps, etc. to work to be worrying about any sites you KGC guys have. For the most part I turn down offers to go hunt other peoples sites. I try to stick around here in Oklahoma.
If you guys think you are being followed, wire tapped, buzzed by helicopters, mail invasion, computer hacked, etc. the more power to you. With all the people who are claiming this though, there must be a fleet of helicopters devoted just to spying on treasure hunters.
It just seems funny to me that the ones who are claiming all of this seem to be 99% KGC treasure hunters. I haven't heard of many guys who are just regular treasure hunters claiming this. :dontknow:

Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"

Thanks , Jay . From what I've seen in person I can't assign this to one entity . I think many groups have been here in the past and there was knowledge passed from group to group through the ages .
What I feel we are dealing with here is a well funded group motivated by greed . Their own nature obviated those more informed passing the final details to them . Now they shadow folks like us that are taking a more 'boots on the ground' approach .
We've talked privately about how some of my Mother's family recovered a portion of the treasure in
Danville , VA and did well with it .
The folks dogging us at present know more of the story than we do . They just don't have the last little details to win the prize .
Safety in numbers applies in the field . One person may succombe to an accident in the wild .... Much
more difficult for a group that left tracks with family and friends to have an accident .

One thing I figured out almost immediately from reading your posts is that you're pretty much a troll of the highest order with the rare bit of usefull comments thrown in now & then. (yes I have done a search of your previous posts) Mostly what I see is someone who enjoys calling everyone else a fool or a liar. Even your quote about "extraordinary claims" shows how arrogant you are. NOBODY has to prove anything to you unless they are trying to sell you something or asking you to invest in something. Why you haven't been banned for intentionally turning the practise of making other members miserable into a sport is beyond me... I guess you're just very very good at knowing how to push the rules or the forum and the rules of common courtesy to the very egde without stepping over... Now be sure to see if I've spelled anything wrong or put a punctuation mark in the wrong place and have a real nice day. Why don't you step away from the computer and go treasure hunting... One last comment. Please don't assume this is an invitation to dance the drama dance you seem to enjoy. I have no desire to banter back & forth with you and waste my time & everyone elses. I'm pretty much ready to just put you on ignore, which by the way, I've never done on any website in the past. Just take my opinion for what you paid for it and move along and bother someone else... I've never even posted a complaint about another member of any website before but your just so over the top I couldn't resist... I know of at least 1 member who deleted several pages of posts on 2 different threads and left the site because of guys like you.. Of course you're probably proud of that..

Great advice TB

Trouble is, most do not have the discipline to refrain from responding to, or referring to, the [mod]DELETED – Forum Rules Violation (Wreckdiver1715)[/mod] posts which only feeds their obsession.

I'm just here to read about this hobby we all share, learn what I can and contribute when I can if it's a subject I have experience with. Not looking to "banter back & forth and waste your time" [mod]DELETED – Forum Rules Violation (Wreckdiver1715)[/mod] If the people who run this place allow him to do it that's their business I guess and I'm not here to question how they run their house. It just got really tiresome that just about everytime I started reading an interesting post this [mod]DELETED – Forum Rules Violation (Wreckdiver1715)[/mod]with his hoiler than thou comments and outright insults. I suppose being a newbie I should have just kept my mouth shut and moved on but being an old dog who's tired of these[mod]DELETED – Forum Rules Violation (Wreckdiver1715)[/mod]who feel the need to spew their unwanted opinions on every post, I just couldn't control myself. I have my theorys why they do this but being a family type site I'll keep that to myself... :icon_thumleft: Goodguy your definition of a troll fits this situation perfectly. Here's a better picture. Carry on...
[mod]I recomend that you read the Forum Rules that you said you viewed when you became a member(Wreckdiver1715)[/mod]

Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"

Hey guys I am still here. I just won't listen to someone that knows nothing about anything.

Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"

I don't always agree with SWR or the way he does some things but with that said, he does make some valid points on certain subjects and to outright ignore him and in this case attack him because you don't like him seems a little bit one sided.

It would be my opinion that SWR makes a valid point with his statement that extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. No, no one has to show proof of anything here but there seems to be some who just think they can say something is so and don't want anyone to challenge them with any actual facts.

SWR has some valid points and if you are here to learn and maybe teach along the way then hearing what he has to say is part of it. You can always skip over his posts if you don't want to read what he has to say but in doing so you may miss something valid.

I might also point out that the moderators usually jump all over someone for calling people names like troll or moron but in some cases they seem to be a little biased in how the police the forum.

I will disagree. I don't think trolls have anything to offer anyone. They ask for pictures and when pictures are shown, all they can do is try to discredit them? People like that don't want to see proof. They don't want to see anything. All they want is to doubt, disagree, and argue with everyone. And why do they get by with it? Oh well, so be it.

Well well.. it appears he has deleted some of the name calling and insults that brought on my responses like the "tard" comment HE made so as to leave it looking like I'm the bad guy. . No surprise there. Alec I respect you opinion and agree that he may have made some contributions in the past that were usefull. They might be a bit easier to find though if they weren't buried among a ton of negative posts intended only to cause drama and contribute nothing. As an example could you point out which ones, out of the 97+ posts he's made on this thread alone actually contributed something worthwhile to the subject being discussed ? I apologise if my comments have offended anyone. Kinda funny though that the majority of opinions I've seen so far is that if he just went away nobody would miss him... Have a nice night.

Bandit,

I don't think I can point out any of the 97 posts but not because there isn't anything there, I'm just not going to waste my time going back trhough them. I look at the posts as I go and if there is something I want to comment on I do, otherwise I keep moving forward.

An open forum is just that. If somebody wants to post they can and that's just the way it is. I would think the whole discussion of "trolls" would fall into the same catagory, useless posts that serve no purpose. If you don't like somebody's opinion then attack their information, not the person. If you think SWR is attacking people then you are doing the same thing by attacking him.

If you don't like his information you can discuss it or ignore it but to me anyway, it seems that attacking SWR personally is exactly the thing you are griping about. Why do it if you don't like it?

Fellow forum poster....the simple fact is this thread turned into a vicious argument between mainstream historians and conspiracy theorists....hundreds of posts ago. My posts started out being humble, sincere and helpful until the conspiracies just got to wacky. I supplied links early on, that unfortunately did not assist in the conspiracy, as there are no reliable references or sources available that does support these extraordinary claims. My 97+ posts may appear to worthless to the conspiracy theorists, but they are, however, posted to support mainstream history and serve a valid purpose in this discussion.

I have not deleted any of my posts, nor have I lowered myself to name calling. The "tard" emoticon I used in my reply to your false accusations was earned. Did you honestly think SWR would be a doormat and not reply? This whole episode of lambasting is uncalled for. If opposing views and opinions are not necessarily your cup of tea, then maybe an open forum isn't the right media for you. Like I said earlier, in one of my worthless posts....if your are going to try and change history, expect to be challenged.
SWR this is the last response you'll get from me and only because I feel the need to address your comment about the "tard" emoticon. What I saw was the word "tard" not an emoticon but in any case, even though you admit to posting it (while denying you deleted anything), it's gone, so I guess at this point it's your word against mine.I was simply pointing out to alec who chastised me for name calling that you drew first blood in that respect. Dissagrement on internet forums is welcome and has been going on since the first time 2 people had a conversation long before the internet existed. Insults, stereotyping women with some of your comments, name calling, whether directly or through the use of smily faces, is considered rude and would most likely result in a good old fashioned butt kicking session if you weren't posting from the safety of your home using a fake name... People tend to run off at the mouth ALOT more on sites like this than they would ever do face to face. I'm probably guilty of that myself sometimes. I'm a military veteran and a biker and if a dog barks at me I bite back.. I have actually shown alot of restraint in posting my opinion of you since this is a family website and since I'm the "new guy" here. Funny thing is that I may even agree with you about alot of the wild stories I read on these websites and have posted in the past that I don't believe in many of these things. But... I post once or twice and move on because that's what normal people do. Beating everyone to death with your opinion to the extent you do is trolling, nothing more, nothing less. Insulting anyone who dissagrees with you is trolling. I simply called you on it when it because tiresome. I haven't read every single one of your thousands of posts not do I intend to. I'm sure there are some that have usefull info. What I did do was quickly scan through a few of your recent posts and what I see for the most part is someone who makes a sport of arguing with other people no matter what the subject is and demanding proof of just about everything as if you're whole purpose for existing is to protect the rest of us from the liars & scam artists of the world. Trust me my friend, most of us are perfectly intelligent enough to protect ourselves no matter how much better than the rest of us YOU think you are.. Now if you'll excuse me the sun is shining here in New Hampshire, the ground is thawing out nicely, and I'm off to play in the dirt.. Again I apologise for allowing myself to be sucked in to this useless banter which has gone on way too long already. That's his style not mine as proven by his prior comment about being "owned". If that's not an admission of his intentions I don't know what is..

Uniform ? I was simply trying to make a point that I'm not the type to tuck my tail between my legs and lay down when attacked by someone such as SWR. Sorry if that confused you... From what I see there have been people calling for him to be banned LONG before I ever even signed up for this fine website but if you want to defend him then that's your right. I'll refrain from posting on this subject anymore so I don't upset his "cheerleaders".. I'm not here to engage in drama or take potshots from people like you. Have a good night.
