ONLY ONE GOLD RING THIS WEEK BUT IT'S A DOOZIE!

It's been cold and wet in Texas! Only got out a few times this week. Ruined my sweet ring roll from the last couple of weeks..... However, I did find a beautiful gold ring. I think the jewel is either ruby or garnet. It's for sure gold...10K. With 6 little diamonds. It's a beaut! I also found a cool button. I don't know how old it is. It says, "Scovill and waterbury" on the back of it. Any thoughts as to how old? Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

Gorgeous ring! I'm a jewelry hound and that stone looks like my pink tourmaline and my pink ice rings. I think pink ice is cz and those 2 types of stones are set in 10k alot. Wish I could hunt in 55 degree weather too! Luckeeee

That’s a great looking ring, and a sweet one at that. On Saturday I found a 10k Gold ring too. It has a stone ahout the same size as yours and has an emerald cut too. The one I found is dark blue. I think your stone looks like pink topaz and dates back to 50's, early 70's, like the one I found. The one I found also has a stamp that looks like it says ROMANY.

I like the ring and really enjoy digging the buttons also. I envy you guys and gals that are near the coast and are able to hunt the beaches daily. It seems like it would be kinda cool to give it a shot. I was born in Brownsville TX. and was only 8 years old when we moved to kansas, so I never got to experience that kind of hunting. I wont complain though. I have found my share of old coins and relics to keep me totally happy!
