I found this yesterday. I didnt find but 2 keepers. This is the ugliest arrowhead I have ever found. If there was a ugly arrowhead contest I believe I would win. I also found some NA Indian pottery shards. The piece on the top is called Wheeler Punched and it dates to the Late Archaic period. The other 2 pieces are plain. Found in N Ga on private property.

You are rite they never finished it. It has a base but the tip is the other side of the cobble. Both ends show cortex top and bottom. You would think they could of thinned out the thing and finished it. But as blademaker said it might of been a beginner trying his hand at it. Its Archaic by the stem so it hasnt been finished for thousands of yrs. Its a nice study piece it shows they made the base before the tip. Thanks everyone, rock
