Nice ring. My first few finds were trash and I was proud of them. :D

Good looking ring you found!
What does the writing say inside the ring?
Or the hall mark?

Great find, I am sure if the gold wasnt real it would have been in terrible condition.

Keep up the good work ......and again that ring is sweet!!

Perfect find. It's Mother's day today!
Maybe a bit premature. Mother's Day is not for another week (May 10). My wife makes sure this date is very clear on our calendar.

I too have an Avon ring...Unfortunately the one I have is not gold or silver. It still is a very nice looking ring! I'm sure that made your heart stop when you found it! I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but generally Avon rings are not made of precious metals, however it is still a keeper! They have some of the nicest looking costume jewelery I have seen. Sure does look like a gold/ruby ring! Still a very nice find! It should increase your desire to find the real stuff! I enjoyed seeing your post. Please do not be angry or discouraged by this....You have shown you have the ability to find the good stuff by finding this ring! Congrats on a very nice find! I have enclosed a picture of the rings I have found...the one Silver looking ring with the leafs on it is the Avon ring. It is not silver or white gold, but still is a very nice looking ring! Thank you for posting what is still a nice find and definately good enough to be a keeper! ;D

Just FYI,

In the stones, if there are variations of color or black specks then they are real. They would have to be extremly high quality if they are all clear and the same color. For that you would need a really good jewler to tell you if they are that high quality.
