One Dollar and a Prayer

I found out Monday that I have to have back surgery on Friday. Been feeling a bit nervous about it since I found out....no....been feeling very nervous about it since I found out. The weather here was just perfect today and Lisa calls and says 'let's go huntin!' We decided to go to Cullman and hunt some parks. We hit several different ones. I found some change and she found a great little button. I talked her ears off about my worries and being the great hunting buddy and friend, she listened and then offered much needed encouragement. After going by and getting some lunch we headed back towards home and hit a park in Hanceville. Not a very well kept park, but a park to hunt nonetheless. My first find there was pretty little cross. I had to smile when I dug it up.

Hope all goes well for you. I think we all worry when it comes down to our bodies and going to the doctors. Hope they can get you fixed up well. Your starting to wear that back out with all that huntin lol.

Will definately say a prayer for you this evening Nana . I had back surgery in 1998 . Had two herniated discs . I was in surgery 4 hours at night + was walking the hospital hall the next day + went home that day . You'll be up + around in no time but you'll have to go slow + take it easy for a while .

HI Nana, I'm not sure of the type of surgery you are having but I just went thru a cervical operation 2 weeks ago from yesterday. I had C4/5 and C6/7 work done. It was a pretty big deal as far as what they told me but truth be told I have already been out metal detecting 3 TIMES since the surgery!!! I pray that whatever you are having done that it is quick and painless. You are in our prayers. So where is this playground you mentioned earlier? J/k God Bless and keep us informed.
