One colonial for the cabinet

Being trying to build up my energy levels lately.

Got a 1.5hr hunt in the other day. Found 6 buttons and a tack, little buckle.

Went back today only to dig a .22 cal. lead and my coil died.
So a 6 mile drive home.
45 minutes charge.

Drive back for a 2 hr hunt.
That's about it for the energy levels.
But it's getting a little better each outing.

It only takes 1 little target to make me smile.
A sweet colonial cufflink.

10 buttons today.
Nice 4 hole Tomback, a first actually.

Just worked a small area iron patch.

It's a first for this type of cufflink.
I'm thinking the term is Fretwork for the ball.

The site has lots of intact buttons as well.
The pewter buttons seem to not fair well though.
I think this cufflink is a one of for recoveries.

Though the Mrs stated it would be nice if I found the other one.
She held it up to her left ear. 🤣

Glad to hear my wife is not the only one….. she’s still waiting for me to “fix” this for her.
