Julian Watters, Finds Liaison Officer stated that you should send that to me for verification of treasure under the Portable Antiquities Scheme..............lol

Awesome coin Ron. I'm sure we"ll see that one on the banner soon. Congrats!

Wow, fabulous finds! At this rate I think you should just emigrate and live in England permanently. :laughing7:

Can anyone tell me what the small hammered silver coin is with the portcullis (or whatever it is)?

Well there Chicago Ron, how ya going to top that one? Big congrats on a cool gold coin and some beautifull hammies but that drinking spout is the bees knees. Are you getting up many artifacts or mostly coins?
ZDD
Oh yea Banner on the gold.

Good question & the spout is a good surviver. Most of mine are half the length.

Those finds would keep a smile on my face for quite a while! Congratulations :icon_thumright:

Amazing finds, Banner for sure!! Congrats.

Holy cow. Awesome. Cant wait!

Thanks Dave, we actually do dig some awesome relics. I think the field the spout and coins came from was pasture until some time in the last 50 years. Even the coppers came out nice

Way to go Ron! Nothin quite like gold looking back at you from the hole. :occasion14:

Steve

Back from across the pond will try to get video up soon. Thanks for all the comments
