These are finds from two hunts (today and one earlier in the week) The 1st hunt this week I stopped at the site where the poesy ring and 1699 cob came from. Today's hunt was at a new lot that didn't turn up a whole lot. Either way, I'm happy to have the rare 1-piece Marines button(even toasted like it is :laughing9:) and Civil War Connecticut state button. Here's a 1-pc Marines that sold for $475 in good condition

Some great finds there.
I often mention how similar finds are often posted in short spaces of time,
I dug the same Marines button in similar condition a little while back.
Super hunts, Keep em comin

The 1 Piece Marines buttons don't pop up too often so that's a nice one to have no matter the conditon!

Thank you Dave. I believe it's possibly a furniture piece :dontknow: maybe a drawer pull or something, I really don't know but it's the second in as many weeks. I've seen them before at pre-CW house-sites a couple times now.
