Five balls for five cents?? Wow! That's an old one alright -- 1939!

No fippers how fun would that be. I spent a load of time playing pinball with my friends at a local bowling alley back in the day. One time a guy working on one had it opened and one kid reached in when the technician wasn't looking and did something to the tilt detection device which made it so less sensitive to pushing it sideways and back and forth. That kid got on it and sure racked up the points on that machine. You'd definitely get your quarters worth out of that machine if you ever got a chance to play it. It wasn't long before the owner of that machine figured out why it wasn't paying him like it did before.

I remember when pinball was king....we kids lined up to be the next player. How cool was the POP the machine made when you got a free game ....if you don't know the pop, you dont know pinball
