Old Anchor?

Recently found this at a thrift shop. Appears to be an admiralty or kedge anchor. Trying to figure out the age or if it, or if it is a replica. There are not any identifying stamps that I can find on it. It does look like it has been painted. Roughly 35” tall by 25” wide & heavy ( haven’t tried weighing it yet, but does take two of us to move).

To me it looks like cast iron with the exception of that iron rod running through it. I'm not seeing much indication of being really that old or used as an anchor. My thoughts are it was produced as decorative item maybe as a piece of interesting yard art.

Yes a real anchor.
Not very old... older than vintage probably.
Definitely worth a few bucks to someone who needs it for use...
OR to someone who wants some good yard décor.
