the VDI charts I have found online for the Nokta Simplex Ultra don’t always match up to the numbers I’ve seen on the screen, so I thought I’d post this for other Nokta Simplex Ultra users.
I don’t know if they’re the same for other simplex models. The numbers below are mostly from “air-testing” after recovery.
VDI numbers

Broken file : 40/94
Modern Nail : 40
.22lr brass : 25
9mm brass : 44
Clad nickel : 48
Shotgun Stamp : 56
Nickel Plated Brass : 58/65
Lead Bullet : 66

Zincoln : 68-69
Soup can lid : 68/78/91
Bottle cap : 68-69
Beer can : 71/72

Note that the Ultra has a Coin or Relic mode, and the VDI numbers are different between the two modes.
