Anyone have a nice knife form they would like to show?

This piece was laying on a table at a local farm retirement auction 3 miles from me a few years ago. It’s just over 4.5 inches long.
The home place was in a very desirable location right above a creek. I asked the owner about it, he said he found it nearby. Only artifact he had ever picked up. I suspect the place holds much more. It’s along the same creek most of the sites I hunt are on.
i couldn’t stay long enough for it to sell so I left a little cash with a friend and got it.

Not much on size or workmanship, but pretty neat colors.

Thanks!
It is a nice artifact. It has some of the finest edge work I’ve seen. Just for the record I own this knife but it’s not a PF.

Well I got some photos of some of my father-in-law's finds. The photos aren't the greatest because of the glass and the lighting in the room, but the knives are pretty nice. My favorite is the Thebes that's just under 3". It's got a heck of a bevel and is wickedly serrated.

It's younger brother. Found in the same field...IMG_1352.JPG
It's about 2.5".

Here are some other nice knives. 1st one is about 3.5" knife 1_cropped.jpg

Here's a Lost Lake (I believe). It's about 3.25".

I apologize again for the poor photos. I was fighting reflections so I couldn't take the photos straight on.

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

I've always wanted a Thebes, but I doubt that I'll ever find one down my way. Good stuff, Kantuck.

This 5 3/8” knife form is a PF from Limestone Co. Texas. Never knew what to type this one as because the base is ground and has a paleo type profile.

That's not a Perd Jon? Sure has the look!

That's what I called it when I grubbed it up Terry. It sorta looks like one, and is made from Edwards Plateau, but the flaking isn't consistent with the Perd style, the stem is too long and is heavily ground. I guess it prolly could be early perd tho. lol
