Anyone have a nice knife form they would like to show?

This piece was laying on a table at a local farm retirement auction 3 miles from me a few years ago. It’s just over 4.5 inches long.
The home place was in a very desirable location right above a creek. I asked the owner about it, he said he found it nearby. Only artifact he had ever picked up. I suspect the place holds much more. It’s along the same creek most of the sites I hunt are on.
i couldn’t stay long enough for it to sell so I left a little cash with a friend and got it.

That is a beauty old digger. Great memory too. I have a few from my wife's grandma also and I cherish them.

Posted this somewhat recently, I found the top half a few days before I found the bottom. It may be broke, but It’s my “miracle” blade. Not sure if it falls into the knife category but it’s sharp! F6AF6D9F-CFC0-4D9E-8C6A-8A483820E427.jpeg

0531191004b.jpg Work has been crazy. Haven't had a lot of time. Here are two I found. The jasper of course, is my favorite, wish I knew for sure what the base would have looked like! They are about 3 1/2 inches long.

@ TwistedSifter--I'd say it was a piece awaiting further refinement--a preform. Also possibly broken by the maker and abandoned. Preforms were utilized "as is" when the need arose. I like it!

To keep it rolling I don’t have any full knives but this was almost a beauty, in my area it’s called a kay blade

Looks like it had huge serrations down the side twoards your thumb.

Geez. I can't come close to some of the stuff y'all are posting, but I like this one. I've been wanting to post it and a few other finds (will get to those later). It reminds me of Sandchip's post #38 in the favorite arrowheads thread. A friend called it a MacCorkle as soon as I sent him the photo in the field and I'd lump Sandchip's into that category as well. There was so much plant trash that I could easily have gone by it. I was walking, stopping, looking, and while stopped, I noticed it about 2' away and almost directly in front of me. It was the only thing I found that day, aside from a few flakes. I kind of like the asymmetric ones. I'd say this one had a side re-sharpened.

How you saw that one,...I do not know!

I saw a pink edge and what looked like a shoulder. After bending down to take a closer look, I knew it was something so I got out my camera because I know some of the folks here like the in-situ shots (I know I do). I figured it would be broken but I was very pleasantly surprised.

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

Don't know where you're at, but these two could be brothers. Found this one about twelve years ago walking a creek. It was the last thing I expected in a creek that has produced very few flint artifacts in 40 years.

Found this one a couple years ago. Like the flaking on it and the two little hafting notches
