I joined Mattlockman on a raid into Maine saturday and we had some luck.

Here's the 1909s, the only copper I dug that was not corroded to a blob.

Mattlockman hit multiple silver rings in this dirt clod, way to go!

Some of the other coins, the poor IH are wasted.

There was a French/Indian war battle on this site in 1689 and I dug a bullet (3 ringer) and a couple musket balls.

Here's a pic of the park, pretty nice place.

Nice wheatie Charles... Just checked the 2007 Red Book and see G-4 at $75.00... Not sure how much affect the corrosion will have though...

Gotta love that 1909-S!!!

I found one about four years ago and sold it on Ebay for $59.00. It was in about the shape that yours is in!! Congrats!!

Some really nice finds! I've found 4 09's in the last few weeks and not one had an S. :'(

I like all of your coins as well as the drit clod rings.

You did good! Great condition on that 1909s,my wheaties are almost all corroded.

That 1909 s is awesome, as are the other coins and rings. WTG

The round balls may be musket balls from the F/I war but it wasn't fought until the 1750's. The three ringer would be post 1840 or so. Nice finds.
