This weekend lets camping in …

I will let you know the findings

All aboard… welcomed any adventurers

The Jesuits established missions in various parts of Chihuahua, with the purpose of converting the indigenous people to Christianity, teaching them Catholic practices, and establishing Christian communities. These missions not only had a religious purpose, but also served as agricultural, craft and educational teaching centers.

Recognized for their emphasis on education, the Jesuits founded colleges and schools in Chihuahua to educate both the indigenous and Spanish populations. These institutions not only provided religious education, but also taught a wide range of academic disciplines and contributed to the cultural development of the region.

Within this historical context, the temple of San Nicolás de la Joya emerges as a monument to the Jesuit work in Chihuahua. Located in the town of the same name, this temple, although now in ruins, reflects the past presence of the Jesuits in the region. Note .- Published in El Sol de Parral newspaper
