Fisher F2 or a Tessoro, personally I don't like the Ace detectors...They look good and are well built but I just had a disapointing experiance with a Ace 150 and was soured....The F2 is awesome and has a fast recovery to!

Welcome to Tnet. and happy hunting.

Welcome to the forums! There are a lot of choices, it depends a lot on where you intend to hunt and what type of hunting you will do. Beach, lakes , parks , old homesteads etc are all places to hunt. If you are looking for relics, jewelry, coins - these are all things to consider when making your purchase.

If we can help you in your decision, please give us a call.

Welcome from Upstate NY. Spend some time browsing the brand forums. Much like anything else that has several brands, you will find fans and detractors for every model. The important part is to take the time to learn what your machine does in different situations. They more you know what the machine is trying to tell you the more success and fun you will have. HH
