Detector(s) used
Ace 250, White's DFX
Hello I am new to the TH hobby and I love it. I asked for a metal detector for Mothers day and my husband got me one. Yeah. It is a garrett 250 which is a good starter. Here are my finds for my first year of use. This is my first winter so I will be doing some research and checking sites to hunt for next year. I'm hooked now. I really like digging and finding relics and bits of history.

Yes I only found one of the handcuffs. How old do you think it is? I found it in an area that use to be an old Christmas Tree farm.

Fantastic finds there Dakotama and a big welcome to TNet. My wife used to MD before her RA became so bad now she comes out with me to enjoy the warm weather. Would like to see more ladies MD.....

Right on the area you have your index finger is there any type of slot, if so the cuff may be from a pair of toy hand cuffs, because I have a pair that are exactly the same, but never the cool finds, welcome to a great hobby, and you will find a lot more.

I guess it'll only get better...Great find's and Welcome.Does the pin say Baltimore on it?

from a fellow first year TH aholic. Welcome

Looks like a great start. Can't wait to see what you find next year.

Yes the pin says Baltimore Orioles.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone. I thought I did pretty good for my first year but then I see all of your finds and I see I need to do more research to get bigger scores and better finds.

Here is a better pic of the sides and the key area. I was wondering if they were real or not. It is pretty solid and heavy. I don't remember the toy handcuffs being that heavy but the key area has me wondering. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
